Want to give back? This is another great way to give thanks to God. We’ll spruce up the church building as we journey through Lent together. Join us Saturday, March 7^th. We’ll begin cleaning at 9 am and continue until a shared lunch. Everyone is invited. There is something for everyone to do of all abilities and skill levels.

You can also find a Project Card on the table in the entry near the offices. If you want to start early or can’t join on the 7^th, select a card, fill out the form, and go to it.

Join us on Saturday, March 14, 2026 for a St. Patrick's Day Corned Beef Dinner! Each delicious dinner features corned beef, Irish style potatoes, cabbage, root vegetables, a wedge of soda bread, and a signature dessert!

This year, you have the option to either order your dinners for curbside pick up, which will be between 4 and 5 pm on the 14th, or join us in person for dinner in the church's Fellowship Hall (lower level) between 5:30 and 7 pm.

You MUST order your dinner(s) in advance by Thursday, March 12th. Dinners are $25 each, and you can request tickets for purchase by calling the church office at 203-743-1877.

Everyone is invited to experience this Special Service. A Blue Christmas Service is a unique service that acknowledges not everything is always Merry and Bright during the Christmas season. A time to reflect on the complexity of the season with lost loved ones, life not always being what you imagined, and knowing sometimes the Christmas Season is just hard. Bring your whole self, be present, and know that God meets you where you are and just as you are this Advent and Christmas Season. You are invited to this unique Christmas Service on Wednesday, December 17^th at 7 PM.

Are you ready for an incredible dinner! Get your tickets now for the First Church Bethel, UCC Pot Roast Dinner. With all prices on the rise, this is an even better deal than normal, because we are keeping this incredible meal at just $25. You can order tickets by calling the church office 203-743-1877. You can pick up your meal to go or dine in for fellowship and fun.

Drive-by Carryout 4:00-5:00. Dine-in 5:30-7:00 PM. Saturday, Dec. 6^th.

Calling all 6th through 12th Grade Youth! You are invited to take part in the First Church Youth Group. We have a great time getting to know each other, having fun at youth group, doing service work, growing in our faith, playing games, fun outing adventures, meeting with other youth groups, and even enjoying some great food. It is a blast and you are invited

We are a community of people seeking to live God's love and justice in the world. We deepen our faith in community through Sunday worship, Adult faith formation, service work, and more. We foster the growth and formation of our young people through worship, Sunday School, Youth Ministry, service work and more. And we have fun and lots of food & fellowship doing so.

Fun for the whole family!

Children's festival with Games, Crafts, Balloon Artist, Face Painting, & More.

There is food, ice cream, drinks, and more!

Fun Activities are free for everyone. Children can earn a free sundae by having fun and families can purchase another for $5.

This fun festival for all ages is Rain or Shine. If the sun shines we are outside on the lawn and in the shade of tents. And if the weather is treacherous, we'll be inside!

You are welcome to attend anytime between 11:00 and 2:00.

No RSVP needed.

We are putting our faith in action. On March 10^th, we will assemble our Church World Service Hygiene Kits. CWS distributes the kits around the world to communities in need. You can be a part of making the transition after disaster more bearable. You can drop off your hygiene kit items at church on Sunday or during the week. Everyone is welcome to help assemble the kits. It will be an afternoon of fun, fellowship, and food on Sunday, March 10^th after worship. Click for more information to get donation details.
